Volunteer for Brew at the Zoo!

Volunteers are needed to assist at Brew at the Zoo on Thursday, July 18 at the Smithsonian's National Zoo. This annual fundraiser features beer sampling, food, games and live entertainment. Volunteers will assist with registration, soda stands, a VIP area and games. Volunteer assignments will be made the night of the event to ensure all tasks are covered in a timely fashion. We ask for your flexibility with assignments in case of last minute changes the afternoon of the event.

This is a ticketed beer-sampling event. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and may not drink alcoholic beverages during the event.

Volunteer shifts are from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Special qualifications:

Staff will be on hand to provide on-the-job training. All positions are outdoors, so volunteers must be able to be outside in warm temperatures.
